Remote modem management
Zypcom's SX-Series of modems are designed for commercial data
communication applications. All SX-Series modems (Z34-SX, Z34-SXL (with leased line adapter), Z32t-SX, Z32b-SX)
can operate on dial-up or
point-to-point leased lines. The feature-rich SX-Series modems are proven
leaders in data throughput — even on impaired telephone lines. Network
World said "the best overall performer" of high-speed modems. Data
Communications bestowed their "Top Performer" award. Byte said
"sends and receives data faster than any modem." Zypcom's Z34-SX
modem incorporates V.34 technology for line speeds up to 33.6Kbps. The
Z32t-SX modem incorporates V.32terbo technology for 19.2Kbps line speeds.
The Z32b-SX modem incorporates V.32bis technology for 14.4Kbps line speeds.
Zypcom Z34-SX, Z34-SXL (with leased line adapter), Z32t-SX, Z32b-SX Operational Flexibility
The SX-Series modem family is a versatile network modem that offers a
wide range of operational flexibility as well as application flexibility. SX-Series
modems are ideal for mission critical applications over dial-up lines,
2-wire leased lines or 4-wire leased lines. Advanced leased line back-up
over a single dial-up line reduces your restoral line costs by 50% compared
to dual-line back-up modems.
Zypcom Z34-SX, Z34-SXL (with leased line adapter), Z32t-SX, Z32b-SXApplication Flexibility
SX-Series modems ( Z34-SX, Z34-SXL (with leased line adapter), Z32t-SX, Z32b-SX
) are ideal for router-to-router communications, remote
LAN and Windows NTTM applications, IBM® synchronous
communications, disaster recovery and X.25 network applications. The SX-Series
family of modems have multiple autodialing protocols for compatibility with
a wide range of computer hardware. Sophisticated remote diagnostics and
modem control, combined with an optional PC-based SNMP network management
system and features too numerous to mention, deliver unmatched performance,
reliability, and functionality. On the Z34-SX, future controller and DSP
enhancements are added quickly with the flash memory design.
One Modem, Lower Costs with Z34-SX, Z34-SXL (with leased line adapter), Z32t-SX, Z32b-SX
With its operational and application flexibility, ease-of-use,
compatibility, security options, manageability, superior signal-to-noise
performance and the highest full-duplex data throughput of any modem today,
the SX-Series offers the data communications professional the best
price/performance ratio available. Network World said "Zypcom provides
the biggest bang for the buck."
