HDSL Termination Unit
Available in three versions:
HTU - T1 (standalone unit)
HTU - T1L (low-cost standalone unit)
HTU - T1C (card for the LRS - 24 modem rack)
Extends the range of T1 equipment over existing copper cables
Eliminates the need for repeaters or optical cables
Range over 4-wire (24 AWG) up to 2.9 miles (4.7 km)
Connects T1 subscribers to digital networks or between campus buildings
Complies with HDSL according to ANSI standards
Supports unframed or framed T1
Built-in SNMP agent for standalone and card versions
Embedded channel for control and diagnostics of both central and remote units
Supports priority bumping
Setup, control and monitoring via front panel LCD or supervisory port (HTU - T1) or via an attached PCU (HTU - T1L)

RAD HCD-4
4 Mbps HDSL-based Data Modem
HDSL-based modem, enabling symmetrical data transmission at a rate of 4 Mbps over existing copper cables
Synchronous full duplex operation over existing 4-wire cables at distances of up to 3.0 km (1.9 miles)
Complies with ETSI HDSL standards
Supports embedded channel for control and diagnostics of both central and remote units
Setup, control and monitoring using front-panel LCD or ASCII terminal
Alarm relay port for activation of external alarm devices upon alarm events

RAD HCD-E1
HDSL E1 Access Unit
Standalone HDSL NTU/LTU converting n ( 56, n ( 64 or full E1 data rates to HDSL transmission format
Range of up to 9.2 km (5.7 miles) with H-RPT repeater or up to 4.8 km (3 miles) without H-RPT repeater
Available with 4-wire or 2-wire line interface
Operates opposite RAD's HTU-E1, HTU-2, HDSL modules of the DXC and Megaplex families, and H-RPT (4-wire HCD-E1 only)
Complies with the ETSI HDSL standards
Supports priority bumping (4-wire HCD-E1 only)
Up to two data ports with the following interfaces: V.35, RS-530, V.36/RS-449, X.21, Ethernet (IR-ETH, IR-ETH/Q or IR-IP)
Optional E1 drop & insert sublink for PBX connectivity
E1 sublink interface complies with ITU G.703, G.704, G.706, G.723 and G.823
Control of the remote unit via embedded operation channel or inband management
Setup, control and monitoring using front panel, ASCII terminal or SNMP-based network management station

Data rates n x 56 or n x 64 kbps, up to 2048 kbps
Complies with the ETSI HDSL standards
Supports digital interfaces of V.35, V.36, X.21, RS-530 or built-in Ethernet bridge
Card version for LRS - 12 modem rack with SNMP management
