SPECTRACOMM 5000: ANALOG & DIGITAL ACCESS PLATFORM

The SpectraComm 5000 (SC 5000) integrated and line-by-line access system enables business users to integrate high-speed digital and analog access from distributed remote locations, allowing users to take advantage of the cost savings available through T1/E1 services. The SC 5000 performs "channel grooming" to consolidate multiple data streams into a single high-speed stream for delivery to a network-bound T1 or E1 circuit. It supports a flexible array of access technologies, including V.34 switched and private line analog services, subrate DDS and full rate T1/E1 and fractional T1.

The modular design of the SpectraComm 5000 makes it scaleable, supporting as few as one remote site to a large network with hundred of sites. The entire SpectraComm 5000 system fits into GDC's innovative and compact SpectraComm shelf.
