The DNX is a full-featured cross-connect system with capabilities comparable to those
of larger, more costly systems. Incorporating twin 128Mbit time division multiplexing
busses - each with its own out-of-band signaling bus - nonblocking switching can be
accomplished with brief throughput delays while providing unmatched redundancy.
When placed at either the core of a network or at the edge, the DNX proves to be a
worthy performer. It allows service delivery and grooming to augment bandwidth before
backhaul on broad band services.
