HTU NX64

T1 HDSL NETWORK TERMINATION UNIT

The ADTRAN HTU Nx64 is a low cost T1 HDSL network termination unit. The HTU Nx64 provides an interface between T1 HDSL and the user's Data Terminal Equipment (DTE). The HTU Nx64 is an ideal solution for such applications as LAN to LAN bridging, Frame Relay circuit termination, and video-conferencing. The HTU Nx64 can be deployed in pairs as a point to point configuration. The HTU Nx64 can also be deployed as a remote unit with an ADTRAN T1 HDSL HTU-C central office unit.

Housed in a compact, durable plastic housing the HTU Nx64 supports data rates from 56 kbps to 1.536 Mbps at Nx56 or Nx64 kbps. A single V.35 or V.11 interface provides connection to the end user's DTE equipment.

Configuration, testing, and performance monitoring. The HTU Nx64 a user friendly front panel interface. Complete configuration and performance information is available from the front panel keypad and two-line by 16-character LCD display. The front panel interface can also be used to invoke local and remote loopbacks. The HTU Nx64 also supports configuration and performance monitoring through a rear panel control port using a VT 100 terminal emulation. The HTU Nx64 can also be configured remotely from an ADTRAN HTU-C.
