The Adtran Modem-16 Module (Part# 1200181L1 ) is a high-capacity card for the ATLAS Integrated Access System, capable of processing sixteen modem calls and sixteen ISDN calls.

Modem or ISDN calls are presented to ATLAS via one or more Primary Rate ISDN (PRI), Basic Rate ISDN (BRI), or T1 circuits. The Modem-16 Module combines with the Async-232 Module to enable dial-up access for up to forty-eight users. Ethernet connectivity for remote access to LAN-based resources will be supported in a future ATLAS release.

The Adtran Modem-16 Module (Part# 1200181L1 ) can be configured through a variety of mechanisms, including Telnet or VT 100 emulation. SNMP management is supported for alarm and event reporting.

The Adtran Modem-16 Module (Part# 1200181L1 ) expands ATLAS to integrate remote access with the dedicated bandwidth management and switched access functions already supported.
