EXPANSION MODULES FOR THE TSU

When density is an issue in your TSU multiplexer installation, the Dual Nx56/64 Module (Part# 4200142L1#HS ) or Plug-On (Part# 4200159L1 ) should be used. This module provides two miniature DB-26 interfaces, and uses adapter cables to provide a female V.35 Winchester interface.

The Dual Nx56/64 module (Part# 4200142L1#HS & 4200159L1 ) provides two standard synchronous data interfaces suitable for most high-speed data applications.

Using the built-in 8 kbps inband management channel, the Dual Nx56/64 module (Part# 4200142L1#HS & 4200159L1 ) also provides an end-to-end communications capability for SNMP and T-Watch PRO. The Dual Nx56/64 Expansion Module (Part# 4200142L1#HS ) accepts most plug-on modules while the Dual Nx56/64 Plug-On Module (Part# 4200159L1 ) works with any TSU Expansion Module. When combining the Dual Nx56/64 Expansion Module (Part# 4200142L1#HS ) and Plug-On (Part# 4200159L1 ), the user has a total of four miniature DB-26 interfaces, which are cabled to four V.35 DTE interfaces per expansion slot.
